//Tamil Nadu The Meteorological Department in Chennai has issued a warning that on Friday and over the weekend the temperature will cross 40 degrees Celcius mark. The Met Department has asked people across Tamil Nadu to not venture out during midday. Typically, the heat wave affects only Telangana and Andhra Pradesh each year but this year it has hit Tamil Nadu too. The Met Department attributes this to the lack of rains in many parts of Tamil Nadu and the continuous period of dry weather. There is also poor of the sea breeze in Chennai this year and no showers and thus, April is setting record highs in the city. People have been asked to take necessary precautions.//
